AnnieMac Cash2Keys Program Surpasses One Billion Dollars In Funded Volume
Private equity-backed cash-offer platform highlights demand for competitive purchase strategies and closing certainty in tight housing markets
AnnieMac Home Mortgage announced that its affiliated company, AnnieMac Private Equity Cash2Keys, has surpassed $1 billion in closed purchase price volume through its Cash2Keys platform, marking a significant milestone for the cash-offer solution operating across 42 states.
The platform enables qualified buyers to make cash offers by removing financing, home sale, and appraisal contingencies, factors that can strengthen bids in competitive purchase markets and provide greater certainty to sellers.
“Reaching $1 billion in purchase price volume reflects both the demand for innovative solutions providing a market advantage for buyers, and the trust our partners place in AnnieMac to deliver certainty, speed, and execution when it matters most,” said CEO Joe Panebianco.
Program Structure And Growth
Cash2Keys includes a suite of options designed to position buyers as cash purchasers, including Cash Offer, Cash Bridge, Buy Now Sell Later, Buy Now Sell Later Express, and Appraisal Assurance.
The platform reached $500 million in purchase volume in October 2024 and has since scaled to serve more than 2,000 families nationwide.
According to AnnieMac, transactions tied to the program have also generated more than $65 million in associated realtor commissions.
“Cash2Keys allows buyers to offer what sellers want — certainty of closing,” said Wesley Costello, executive vice president of sales operations at AnnieMac.
Tom Bickett, a sales manager at the company, said the platform has expanded his ability to compete as a local lender, adding that clients are increasingly seeking out solutions that improve their position in multiple-offer scenarios.
What It Means For Mortgage Professionals
The growth of cash-offer platforms like Cash2Keys reflects how some lenders and originators are adapting to persistent supply constraints and competitive purchase conditions.
By pairing traditional mortgage financing with private equity-backed cash solutions, originators may be able to help borrowers present stronger offers while still ultimately financing the loan after the purchase.
The approach can also help address common transaction hurdles, including appraisal gaps and home sale contingencies, which have become more pronounced in tight inventory environments.
As competition for homes remains elevated, tools that improve offer strength and closing certainty are becoming a more visible part of the originator playbook.
