Gateway Mortgage reported significant growth in the company, prompting it to open 10 new locations across Colorado, Idaho, Oklahoma, Texas, Oregon, and Wyoming in the first half of 2021.

Gateway funded more than $11.3 billion in mortgage loans in 2020. Even with the tightening housing market, 2021 brought increased production volume with 2021 production through the first six months just slightly below the 2020 record levels. Refinance activity remains strong due to continued low interest rates.

“Gateway continues to grow and expand its footprint to meet the increasing demand from local communities for home financing,” said Scott Gesell, CEO of Gateway, according to a press release. “We are committed to the families and communities we serve. Our momentum is a testament to our team members’ persistent focus on connecting with people to positively impact their lives.”
