InGenius Acquires Recruiting Platform SIMPL
Deal aims to bring structure, speed, and scale to front-line mortgage recruiting
Mortgage data intelligence firm InGenius has acquired SIMPL, a recruiting platform developed by industry operators Fobby Naghmi and John Perry. The acquisition, announced by both companies on July 23, integrates SIMPL into the newly updated InGenius 2.0 system, combining workflow tools with market intelligence to help producing managers grow their teams more efficiently.
SIMPL — which stands for Strategic Intelligent Management of People and Leads — was designed specifically for branch managers and business development leaders who juggle recruiting with daily production demands.
“We didn’t start with a tech idea,” Naghmi wrote in a July 24 LinkedIn post. “We started with a leadership problem — not just a lack of tools, but a lack of clear strategy, ownership, and practical support for producing managers who were being told to recruit without being given the roadmap to do so.”
In the official release, Naghmi added: “Recruiting isn’t just about finding people — it’s about building the right team. Our goal was to create a cost-effective platform that could be used in the real world — by real producing managers who want to grow their footprint. SIMPL had to be powerful, yet practical. That’s why we say: Keep it SIMPL.”
The platform includes accountability tools, customizable tracking journeys, and preloaded scripts, email templates, and texting copy to help managers take immediate action. Its integration into InGenius 2.0 enables seamless access to market data and CRM systems to eliminate duplication and streamline recruiting efforts.
Jeff Walton, CEO of InGenius, emphasized the simplicity and effectiveness of the platform. “Users who spend just 20 minutes a day, three times a week, consistently hit their recruiting targets,” Walton said in the press release. “That’s just one hour a week. SIMPL removes the guesswork, repetition, and delays — and makes it easy to focus on results.”
According to the release, the platform “helps recruiters and managers track conversations, automate follow-up, and organize the entire journey — while saving hours every week.”
