Jason duPont Named COO At NEXA Mortgage

Jason duPont has been appointed Chief Operating Officer at NEXA Mortgage, CEO Mike Kortas announced in a LinkedIn post earlier today.

“Jason’s mission: lock in the operational efficiency we’ve been missing since day one and fuel growth like never before,” Kortas wrote. “This is the move that takes NEXA beyond even our wildest dreams. Buckle up.”

The announcement highlights duPont’s nearly three decades of industry experience and his track record as the company’s top recruiter. 

Before stepping into the COO role, duPont served as NEXA’s National Recruiter and was profiled in "Assassin Recruiters" for his unconventional but effective methods of attracting top talent. He’s also known for completing the grueling “Everesting” cycling challenge —climbing 29,029 feet of elevation in a single ride — underscoring what Kortas described as an “indefatigable mindset.”

Kortas framed the move as a strategic turning point for the company, writing, “This isn’t just a promotion. This is NEXA’s power move for explosive growth. This is leadership that breaks barriers and builds champions.”
