MBA Names New Vice President Of Communications

Adam DeSanctis promoted from role as director of public affairs.

The Mortgage Bankers Association announced that Adam DeSanctis has been promoted to vice president of communications. In his elevated role, DeSanctis will help shape public affairs strategy for the MBA and lead all aspects of media relations, member communications, and video content development.

"Adam is a skilled communicator and strategic thinker who is passionate about real estate finance and has played a critical role in developing and delivering MBA’s innovative communications to a wide variety of important audiences,” said Marcia M. Davies, MBA’s chief operating officer and founder of mPower. “I can’t think of anyone more dedicated to amplifying MBA’s news and strategic initiatives to members, the media, and other industry stakeholders. Adam has earned this promotion, and I look forward to seeing him and the Public Affairs team expand and execute MBA’s communications objectives.”

Prior to joining MBA, DeSanctis served in various ascending positions in media relations and communications at Freddie Mac, the National Association of Realtors, Navy Federal Credit Union, and TD Bank.

DeSanctis holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism-Advertising from the University of Maine. He joined MBA in 2018 as director of public affairs.
