Bob Dougherty Joins Calyx as VP of Business Development
CalyxSoftware has announced that Bob Dougherty has joined the company as vice president of business development, where he will be responsible for developing the company’s overall partner strategy, building relationships with key mortgage industry influencers and vendors, and increasing interface usage and revenues. He will report to Dennis Boggs, executive vice president of CalyxSoftware.
Dougherty has more than 20 years of operational and business development experience in the mortgage industry. Most recently, he was vice president of mortgage operations at Merchants Bank, Winona, Minn., where he led operation and secondary marketing functions for its mortgage banking division. Prior to Merchants, Dougherty was executive vice president at Boom Brother Commercial Capital LLC, an intermediary consulting firm facilitating commercial financing for commercial/multi-family buildings with specialization in difficult to fund loans. He also served as chief executive officer at Timberland Mortgage Services, a former lender and underwriter of residential mortgage loans in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Kansas and Colorado. Dougherty began his career in loan officer/management roles at Monelink, Burnsville, Minn., and Equicredit Corporation, Roseville, Minn.
