Collateral Analytics has developed a new automated valuation model (AVM) solution to assist lenders with monitoring commercial property values and provide access to quick, accurate and inexpensive valuations for commercial real estate

Collateral Analytics has appointed Robert Walker, CMB, CMT as senior vice president of Customer Retention and Acquisition Technologies. Walker is a veteran of the real estate data and analytics industry and joins Collateral Analytics to drive the utilization and adoption of the company’s progressive customer retention and acquisition technologies.

“Rob is uniquely qualified for this task as he spent much of his career working on the marketing elements and derivative uses of AVM technology,” said Dr. Michael Sklarz, chairman and CEO of Collateral Analytics. “His innovation and comprehensive knowledge will be a great fit for our company.”

While at Lender Processing Services, Walker led the team that developed Realtor Valuation Model (RVM) for the National Association of Realtors (NAR), co-authored several valuation and process patents, authored numerous articles in mortgage lending trade journals about the diverse value of automated valuation and helped launch AVM technology in Australia and New Zealand.

Walker is one of only 10 professionals that holds both, a Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) and Certified Mortgage Technologist (CMT) designations from the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA).
