First American Acquires TD Service Financial Corporation

First American Financial Corporation has acquired TD Service Financial Corporation, a provider of post-closing services and document management. TD Service Financial Corporation is the parent company of several subsidiaries——including TD Service Company, Security Connections Inc. and TD Quality Control Services—and will become part of First American’s Mortgage Solutions division.

Dale Dykema and Sandi Dykema, TD Service Financial's co-chairmen, will retire following the acquisition, and current President and Chief Operating Officer Robert Phelps will join the leadership team that serves under Kevin Wall, president of First American Mortgage Solutions.
