CFPB Offers Resources on Mortgage Forbearance Under the CARES Act

The CFPB has released a video on how homeowners can obtain mortgage forbearance if their finances were impacted due to the COVID-19 pandemic

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has released a video on how homeowners can obtain mortgage forbearance if their finances were impacted due to the COVID-19 pandemic in light of the passage of H.R. 748, The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act or the "CARES Act."
 
The CFPB has also issued additional information for consumers on mortgage and student loan payment relief and how to avoid scams.
