Andrew Leff Now Head Of National Business Development At Evergreen Home Loans

Seasoned mortgage banker to help grow Evergreen’s retail production, market presence
Evergreen Home Loans, a direct mortgage lender headquartered in Bellevue, Wash., has brought on Andrew Leff as its head of national business development.
Leff has held senior leadership positions at some of the nation's most recognizable financial institutions, including Wells Fargo, Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, and U.S. Bancorp. His background includes national-level roles in business development, program management, and strategic partnerships.
In this new role, Leff will be tasked with expanding Evergreen's footprint through partnership-driven growth strategies, including builder and affinity relationships, as well as other national initiatives aimed at enhancing retail production and market presence, according to the company.
Just what is the mission at Evergreen? To quote it directly, that is “On Time and As Promised service creating a WOW experience.” Speaking of "directly," direct lender Evergreen, of course, originates, funds, and services its own mortgages.
"I truly admired Evergreen's people-first culture and entrepreneurial spirit," Leff stated in a release. "I'm excited to help build on that foundation by creating scalable, value-driven partnerships that support both the business and the communities we serve."
Leff has more than two decades’ worth of experience in the mortgage banking industry, according to Evergreen, and his experience includes:
- U.S. Bancorp, where he served most recently, and was regional production manager for the Mid-Atlantic region, helping transform that region into one of the company's top-performing territories in new construction lending;
- Wells Fargo, where he was head of business development programs and led a range of strategic partnership channels;
- Bank of America, where he was head of business development and helped build and scale the bank's national builder and affinity platforms; and
- JPMorgan Chase, where he led expansion of the bank's new construction condominium lending presence through strategic partnerships and operational innovation.
"Andrew's reputation in the industry speaks for itself," contended Robert Lipston, executive vice president, head of production at Evergreen. "He brings the experience, strategic vision, and leadership we need as we continue to grow our national presence."
