The former Bank of America executive will oversee national fulfillment as the Rate subsidiary prepares to scale
Certainty Home Lending has named Bryan Ingenito executive vice president and national operations executive, placing the 28-year mortgage and consumer-banking veteran in charge of its national operations strategy and fulfillment organization.
Ingenito joins the Dallas-based lender after spending more than 25 years at Bank of America, where he rose to senior vice president and held national leadership roles across mortgage fulfillment, process design, technology implementation, performance management, and small-business credit.
He began his mortgage career as a loan originator at a regional independent mortgage bank before moving into operations leadership.
At Certainty, Ingenito will be responsible for building scalable processes, improving operational performance, and strengthening coordination between sales and fulfillment. The appointment signals that the Rate subsidiary is investing in its operational capacity as it pursues further growth.
“Operations is where the borrower experience is either won or lost, and Bryan has spent his career making sure it’s won,” Certainty CEO Franco Terango said. “His ability to build teams, design processes, and drive performance at a national scale is exactly what we need as we continue to grow.”
Ingenito said the opportunity to apply his large-institution experience within a growing lender attracted him to the role.
“What drew me to Certainty is the chance to apply that experience in an environment where you can see the entirety of the impact,” Ingenito said. “The team here is serious about building something, and I look forward to being a part of that.”
Ingenito is based in the Charlotte, North Carolina, metropolitan area. Certainty Home Lending is a national mortgage lender owned by Rate.
