Evergreen Home Loans Adds John Porath As Regional Manager

Bellevue, Wash.-based Evergreen Home Loans announced today that John Porath has been hired as Southeast Regional Manager to oversee the company’s expansion into Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

Porath has been working in the mortgage industry since 1989, when he started as a loan officer with Norwest. Since then, he’s worked with companies such as JP Morgan Chase, GMAC Mortgage, First American Mortgage Services, and Guaranteed Rate Affinity. 

"I'm thrilled to have someone as talented as John leading our new Southeast Region," said Executive Vice President Robert Lipston. "His proven success in building strong teams and partnerships, along with his deep industry expertise, makes him the perfect fit for this role."

The company said in a press release that it has been preparing for the expansion by, “developing and strengthening key new business segments, including builder partnerships, affinity partnerships, and real estate agent partnerships.”
