Top 1% mortgage originator brings $55M annual production and 26 years of experience to drive team growth and market expansion from Atlanta

AnnieMac Home Mortgage has appointed veteran originator Gianni Cerretani as branch manager within its Momentum Group division, marking the company’s continued expansion into the Southeast.

Based in Atlanta, Cerretani will focus on building high-performing teams and growing AnnieMac’s regional footprint. The division, launched in 2024, serves as AnnieMac’s national retail growth platform and has grown to more than 100 team members.

Cerretani brings more than 26 years of mortgage industry experience and consistent top production, with annual volume of approximately $55 million. He is recognized as a top 1% mortgage originator and has been named among Experience.com’s Top 100 Mortgage Professionals for customer service.

“Gianni is the kind of producer you don’t come across often. He is consistent, respected, and built the right way,” said Jeff Hutchinson, SVP of retail production and co-founder of AnnieMac’s Momentum Group. “More than that, he is loyal, stands by his people, and shows up the same way every day. The kind of guy you call a brother, not just a teammate.”

Cerretani has also been active in serving community-focused lending initiatives. He is the No. 1 Home Heroes affiliate lender in his state and ranks No. 5 nationwide, working with first responders, healthcare professionals, educators, and military borrowers. Over the course of his career, he has helped these borrowers save more than $2.8 million in homebuying costs, according to the company.

In addition to his lending production, Cerretani is a two-time Telly Award-winning television host on The American Dream TV Network, where he leads the segment “Financing the American Dream,” focused on homeownership and financing education.

“Joining AnnieMac was a clear decision for me, and it really came down to three things,” Cerretani said. “The culture, attitude, and drive of the senior leadership team, the autonomy to run my business and grow my production, and the tools and platform that help me better support my partners and clients.”
