Tim Kay and Paul Camenzind will work out of Overland Park, Kansas Branch

Guild Mortgage has added Tim Kay as branch manager, and Paul Camenzind, an experienced senior loan officer, to its team in Overland Park, Kansas.

Joining Guild from Academy Bank, the 14th largest bank in the state of Missouri, where he served as senior vice president, Kay has 25 years of experience in residential mortgage lending, including partnering with local realtors to finance home purchases for families moving to Kansas City or moving up to new homes in the region. In 2021, Kay generated more than $94 million in home loan volume.

Camenzind has more than three decades of experience and joins Guild Mortgage from First National Bank of Omaha, where he was named a Circle of Excellence winner. Prior to First National Bank of Omaha, he was a loan officer at Mutual of Omaha Mortgage and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, where he claimed multiple President’s Club honors.

District Manager Dave Brown said Kay and Camenzind bring extensive experience, local expertise and accomplishments in the mortgage industry to the growing branch, which increased its volume by 13% and units by 8% from 2020 to 2021.

Correction: Since this article was initially posted, Guild Mortgage has clarified the numbers initially supplied for Paul Camenzind were incomplete. They have been removed.
