Jeffrey Massotti Now VP, National Sales TPO At Carrington Wholesale Lending

Experienced lending executive continues to move up in company’s ranks
Jeffrey Massotti, MBA announced yesterday that he’s got a new role as vice president, national sales TPO at Carrington Wholesale Lending. Massotti has been with the Anaheim, California-headquartered division of Non-QM-focused lender Carrington Mortgage Services since June 2020, progressing up through the ranks.
He began his tenure at Carrington Wholesale as an area sales manager, then became regional sales director for the East Coast. After he’d spent several years with the company, Massotti was named director of national sales for the company’s Wholesale Lending Division, his most recent role prior to this one.
Massotti announced his new VP position in a post Tuesday on LinkedIn, which had garnered more than 70 reactions and generated nearly 30 comments as of this article’s publication. Notably, it took Massotti some years of experience to make his way to the mortgage industry — but if you look, there’s a pattern of leadership and sales management.
Before joining up with Carrington Wholesale, Massotti moved somewhat quickly through a few roles, according to his LinkedIn profile. Those included serving as interim president of First Card Packaging, a Rhode Island-based company specializing in retail packaging, branding, and design services, and as executive vice president of sales and marketing at East Providence, Rhode Island jewelry manufacturer American Ring.
But Massotti also spent about eight years in leadership roles at fashion jewelry design, sales, and distribution company Tanya Creations, LLC, which is also in East Providence. And, again, perhaps foreshadowing his success that would come later in the mortgage industry, he did a nearly yearlong stint as director of sales at New York City-based Gabriel & Co., which designs and manufactures high-quality, fine jewelry.
Browsing through his LinkedIn activity going back a few years, it is chock-full of reposts amplifying the voices, efforts, messages, and reach of his colleagues — including many at Carrington.
