Enhanced TrustEngine integration automates loan comparisons, surfaces borrower insights, and embeds presentation tools inside the LOS

TrustEngine is expanding the role of MortgageCoach inside the loan origination process, announcing new enhancements that bring AI-assisted borrower guidance and automated loan comparison tools directly into the Encompass loan origination system.

The company said the upgraded integration allows LOs to generate personalized MortgageCoach loan comparisons within Encompass using live loan data, eliminating manual data entry and reducing the time required to build borrower scenarios.

According to TrustEngine, comparisons that previously could take up to an hour to create can now be generated in seconds.

Vendors are moving beyond workflow automation and toward AI-assisted decision support designed to help LOs guide borrowers through increasingly complex financing choices.

MortgageCoach, which is used by thousands of LOs and lending organizations nationwide, helps originators present and compare loan options while illustrating the financial impact of each choice over time.

Under the enhanced integration, LOs can create side-by-side comparisons of loan scenarios directly within Encompass, showing borrowers the short- and long-term implications of different financing options. The platform can also generate borrower presentations, video explanations, and visual callouts designed to support loan consultations.

TrustEngine said the new capabilities transform MortgageCoach from a standalone presentation tool into a more deeply embedded workflow solution.

Among the new features are automated scenario generation and recommendation logic, real-time data connectivity with Encompass, improved fee handling aligned with regulatory requirements, and an AI-powered loan officer assistant that generates chat summaries and surfaces borrower insights and key takeaways from the conversation.

The system can also automatically generate common borrower strategies, including down payment and discount point options for purchase transactions and term optimization scenarios for refinance loans.

"Further investing in our integration with Encompass is a major step toward making high-quality borrower advice automatic," said Bob Jennings, CEO of TrustEngine. "We're eliminating friction and standardizing how loan options are presented, so lenders can increase productivity, drive consistency across teams, and ensure every borrower receives clear, actionable financial guidance that builds trust and leads to better outcomes."

The company said the latest enhancements move MortgageCoach closer to becoming a fully embedded "advice engine" within Encompass, where borrower recommendations can be generated automatically, updated continuously, and delivered throughout the mortgage lifecycle.

For lenders, the development comes as many organizations seek ways to improve LO productivity while maintaining consistency in borrower communications. The ability to automate scenario creation and presentation development could help reduce administrative work while enabling originators to spend more time advising borrowers and building relationships.

TrustEngine is bringing AI-assisted borrower advice directly into the LOS environment where LOs already spend much of their day, effectively making MortgageCoach the borrower-facing equivalent of a pricing engine — turning advice and scenario-building into a standardized, repeatable process across the enterprise.
