
Raman Muralidharan Named Citizens' New Head Of Mortgage

A Citizens spokesperson confirmed Muralidharan took the post on September 30
Citizens has a new head of mortgage at the helm. Raman Muralidharan started in the role on September 30 and reports to reporting to Brendan Coughlin, vice chair and head of consumer banking, the Providence-headquartered company confirmed to NMP today.
Muralidharan joins from Guaranteed Rate, where he served as president and senior executive vice president of new financial products. Prior to that role, Muralidharan had a career at HSBC where he held various leadership roles including head of mortgage banking.
Muralidharan also served as an executive at Capital One, where he specialized in credit cards, personal loans, and auto loans. He was also a partner at the strategy-focused management consulting firm Booz-Allen & Hamilton, per his LinkedIn.
Muralidharan holds a Master of Business Administration with high honors from the University of Chicago, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Delhi in India. He resides in White Plains, N.Y.
