
Supreme Lending Names New CIO

Baiju Thakkar brings nearly 25 years of IT experience to the position.
Supreme Lending, a Dallas-based independent mortgage lender, has announced the appointment of Baiju Thakkar as chief information officer.

Thakkar brings nearly 25 years of IT leadership, knowledge, and experience to the position. Over the past four years, he has led strategic technology development initiatives at two nationwide mortgage companies, Supreme said.
As CIO, Thakkar will be instrumental in developing, engineering, and implementing innovative, efficient technology initiatives to support company growth, Supreme said. He is passionate about delivering meaningful change through effective partnerships and will provide impactful leadership for Supreme Lending’s IT team to ensure security, quality, and stability, it said.
Before joining Supreme Lending, Thakkar served as executive vice president and chief technology officer for Synergy One Lending. He also previously was a senior vice president, application development & innovation, at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp.
Thakkar holds a bachelor’s degree from City University of New York and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
