The S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Index shows home price gains were the weakest in Western metros.
Data released today for August 2022 show that home price gains decelerated across the United States.
Both the FHFA House Price Index and the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Index reported declining housing prices nationwide.
The gain was down from 20.6% in April.
The FHFA price index rose 1.6% in April, parallel with S&P’s reported 2.08% gain.
