Pete Lunetto Joins AmWest as VP of Credit and Underwriting

AmWest Funding Corp. has announced that industry veteran Pete Lunetto has joined the company as Vice President, Credit and Underwriting, based at the company's corporate headquarters in Brea, Calif.

“AmWest is an exciting company that continues to attract top tier talent,” said Kenneth Jo, Chief Executive Officer of The AmWest Group. “The addition of Pete Lunetto is indicative of our willingness and desire to strategically expand operationally; building greater efficiencies that will consistently exceed the needs and expectations of our customers.”

Prior to AmWest Funding, Lunetto was Vice President of Credit and Underwriting for Ethos Lending LLC. Previous positions include Vice President, Credit Policy at LoanDepot; Senior Executive Vice President–National Operations Manager at Avaris Capital; Assistant Vice President–Product Development Manager at IndyMac Bank; and Account Executive for Greenpoint Mortgage.
