Fairway Promotes Holly Mattson To Drive LO Recruitment Nationwide
With more than three decades in the mortgage industry and over 10 years at Fairway, Mattson will lead efforts to attract and onboard top loan officers nationwide
Fairway Home Mortgage has promoted Holly Mattson to the newly created role of co-president of recruiting, where she will oversee the company’s efforts to attract and onboard top mortgage producers across its nationwide platform.
Mattson brings 32 years of mortgage industry experience and more than a decade of service with Fairway to her expanded leadership duties.
Mattson has been with Fairway for 11 years, previously serving as vice president of TPO production, vice president of branch business development, and senior vice president of sales and recruiting. In her prior role as Fairway’s top internal recruiter, she helped lead initiatives that resulted in 174 loan originators returning to Fairway last year after working with other mortgage companies, a testament to her influence and industry relationships.
In her new position, Mattson will partner with David Lazowski, Fairway’s president of recruiting and growth, to further strengthen the company’s recruiting strategy and expand its market share by connecting experienced originators with Fairway’s suite of technology, support tools, and career development opportunities.
"Holly brings a passion and energy to this role that will help us usher in the next generation of loan officers that are looking for the support and technology to grow," said Lazowski. "Holly brings a deep understanding of the mortgage space in general, and specifically of Fairway and its core values."
Fairway Home Mortgage — recently rebranded from Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation — operates in all 50 states and is recognized as one of the nation’s leading retail mortgage lenders, supporting a broad network of loan officers and borrowers with comprehensive mortgage solutions.
“I am looking forward to helping expand Fairway's market share by connecting with originators looking for a place that will help grow their business through tech and unmatched support," said Mattson. "This move will also open the way for even further development of Fairway's affinity projects."
