NMI Holdings Expands Board With Addition Of Renu Agrawal
NMI Holdings Inc. has appointed veteran financial services executive Renu Agrawal to its board of directors, expanding the panel to 10 members as the National MI parent strengthens governance and industry expertise
NMI Holdings Inc. has appointed Renu Agrawal as an independent member of its board of directors, increasing the board to 10 members.
Agrawal brings extensive executive and governance experience, currently serving on the boards of First Interstate BancSystem Inc. and Sunrise Produce, and previously holding leadership roles at Luther Burbank Corporation and Woodruff Sawyer.
She also spent over a decade at Wells Fargo, most recently as chief operating officer and executive vice president of the Financial Institutions Group.
NMI Holdings is the parent company of National Mortgage Insurance Corporation (National MI), a U.S.-based, private mortgage insurance company enabling low downpayment borrowers to realize homeownership, while protecting lenders and investors against losses related to a borrower's default.
Board Chairman Bradley Shuster said Agrawal’s deep industry knowledge will strengthen the company’s board as it builds shareholder value.

Agrawal holds a bachelor’s of technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and both an MBA and Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
