Rocket Taps Mega-Influencers, Creators In Efforts To Reach Homebuyers
Viral Nation and Rocket look to build 'tools, stories, and spaces that turn aspiration into action’
Rocket Companies wants to engage social media influencers, celebrities, athletes, creators, and others in its efforts to reach America’s potential homebuyers — and spur them into making purchases.
The Detroit-based mortgage, real estate, and personal finance businesses platform announced it has selected as its social media agency of record Viral Nation, a social media innovator that acts as a bridge between businesses and a variety of social media mega-influencers and creators with loyal followings.
The move follows Rocket’s ad campaign successes this year and signifies a formal strategic partnership where Viral Nation will be responsible for Rocket’s overall social media marketing efforts.
According to the companies, Rocket aims to leverage Viral Nation's influencer marketing, social strategy, community management, and social content creation abilities “to deliver raw, relatable homeownership stories that break through social media's glossy facade.”
The concept? Offer real stories, support, and guidance for people working toward homeownership — stir up a little FOMO, maybe, while you’re at it.
"With Viral Nation as our social media agency of record, we're using content to build a movement,” stated Rocket Chief Marketing Officer Jonathan Mildenhall, “one grounded in honest storytelling, vibrant communities, and meaningful solutions.”
“We know that when people see others like them owning their dream, it sparks belief,” he added. “And belief is where transformation begins."
More Of A Good Thing
Rocket launched its "Own the Dream" core creative campaign with a groundbreaking Super Bowl ad earlier this year. The message was amplified by Viral Nation's strategic social campaigns, Rocket noted, which drove 247 million views nationwide and sparked conversations across all social media platforms.
This new partnership with Viral Nation “builds on that moment,” according to Rocket, “by fostering a vibrant, welcoming community through voices from Rocket's network of everyday home-seekers and homebuying experts.”
Viral Nation will showcase real Rocket client stories, influencer ambassador programs, and dynamic community management. The two companies will work together as they seek to “ignite moments that resonate deeply with Americans — piercing through challenges to offer guidance on every step of the homebuying journey.”
"Rocket is more than a financial services company,” contended Joe Gagliese, CEO and co-founder of Viral Nation. “It's a culturally influential brand, authentically leading and shaping the communities it serves."
