Why focusing on the consumer experience is so important

Over 13 years ago, what’s now known as Team Crescenzo with Nation One got its start in Charleston, SC.

Team Crescenzo is fueled by the passion of its leader and branch manager Phil Crescenzo, who started the first half of his 25-year career in the Philadelphia region, then relocated to Charleston, SC.

Team C has grown every year, as a direct result of helping homeowners get approved.

Client after client. Month after month. Year after year. Spreading goodwill with every approval.

Team C

They take pride in their unique approach to mortgage lending.

Their care for people, their mindset around challenges, and even their view of the process itself — all set them apart. In the best possible ways.

Normal delays, challenges, and setbacks don’t disrupt their momentum.

Often, those same challenges don’t stop buyers from getting approved, even if they were denied before being connected with Team C.

This is in part because they specialize in second opinions for larger builder lenders and big institutions. Many must have “overlays” in their product offerings to minimize risk, so a buyer may be fully approved for the loan program but not meet the lender’s added requirements.

Phil and Team C

The whole team is laser focused on guidelines — with urgency — to get clients to a YES.

VA and FHA manual underwriting? Tight closing windows? Credit score hurdles? Just another day at the office for Team Crescenzo at Nation One.

Because Team C focuses on solutions, our builder partners trust us to know if a buyer should remain in contract, move to a new lot, or if financing is not possible and should be cancelled.

By allowing a true secondary support lender to review before making decisions on timing, we have helped countless buyers successfully obtain their home loans.

Team Crescenzo

No flashy slogans. No bells or whistles. Just hard work from a dedicated team that cares about people — and works tirelessly to make homeownership a reality.

Our results speak for themselves. If you’re a builder with a Questionable Finance list in your backlog, now’s the time to reach out. This team can make an immediate impact on your existing inventory — and help great buyers get into homes.

Application in. Review the same day. Answers by the next. This keeps consistent movement and positive momentum, regardless of how we started.
