Union Home Mortgage Brings 30-Year Industry Vet George Dover On Board
Union adds George Dover as VP of manufactured and new construction lending to expand and scale its construction-to-permanent and manufactured housing platforms
Union Home Mortgage (UHM) has appointed George Dover as its new vice president of manufactured and new construction lending.
Dover joins UHM with more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage finance industry, most recently serving as president and co-founder of Cascade Financial Services from 1999 until 2024. In that role, he built and led operations with a strong focus on construction-to-permanent and manufactured housing financing, positioning Cascade as one of the largest government construction-to-permanent and manufactured housing lenders in the U.S. between 2007 and 2015.
"On behalf of all our Partners, I want to welcome George to Union Home Mortgage," said Bill Cosgrove, CEO of Union Home Mortgage. "We are so eager to learn from George's vast expertise in the construction and manufactured lending space and can't wait to see what the future holds for this channel of our business."
In his new role, Dover will be responsible for advancing UHM’s construction-to-permanent and manufactured housing lending platforms, with priorities that include scaling volume, enhancing fulfillment processes, and delivering high service levels to both borrowers and builder partners.
"It's great to be back in the MH and construction-to-perm game at Union Home Mortgage," said Dover. "I've hit the ground running with our sales and fulfillment partners, collaborating to create the best-in-class MH and C2P government and agency lending platform in the country. The culture, tools, and environment at UHM are exactly what I was looking for, and I couldn't be happier to be part of this incredible organization."
Dover is a Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) and has contributed industry insights through articles for MBA Magazine.
