Supreme Lending Attracts Another Movement Mortgage Pro

‘Something just felt different’ at Supreme, says new Regional Manager Michael Nasserfar, who’ll expand company’s builder-focused efforts
Dallas-headquartered national mortgage lender, Supreme Lending, has brought mortgage industry veteran and top-producing LO, Michael Nasserfar, into its ranks as a regional manager, with a specialized focus on builder partnerships and new construction development.
“With over 25 years in the industry and more than $1B in closed volume, Michael’s not here to play small — and he’s certainly not new to this game,” reads a Supreme Lending LinkedIn post yesterday. “But even after all that experience, he says something about Supreme just felt different.”
At Supreme, Nasserfar is tasked with helping expand the lender’s builder-focused efforts across new markets.
Nasserfar published a book last year on, essentially, re-envisioning the whole LO thing — and winning at the job by doing so. It’s called “Rethink Everything You ‘Know’ About Being A Next-Gen Loan Officer.” Here’s a taste of its intro: “Let’s face it, the mortgage industry has changed. If you don’t, it is going to leave you behind.”
"What you want to say you are, and what you are? Usually two different things,” —Michael Nasserfar, Supreme Lending
He joins Supreme Lending after serving with top-10 U.S. residential mortgage lender, Movement Mortgage, as that company’s Austin, Texas market leader and vice president of its Texas Builder Division.
Nasserfar may see several familiar faces at Supreme Lending; the move from Movement to Supreme is becoming something of a trend. Recent appointments at Supreme Lending have included:
- Sarah Middleton, chief growth and marketing officer;
- Eli Fairfield, regional director, Pacific Southwest Region;
- Brian Keranen, regional director, Pacific Southwest Region; and
- Morgan Heinrich, marketing director.
All joined Supreme following employment with Movement Mortgage, and all have pointed to something special, perhaps even alluring, going on at Supreme Lending.
“Michael did his homework. He spoke to team members. He visited our corporate office. And what stood out wasn’t just the vision — it was the follow-through,” Supreme’s LinkedIn post notes. “Every call, every meeting, every interaction confirmed what we believe sets Supreme apart: people who show up, stay present, and care deeply about the work and each other.”
Supreme also published a blog entry describing Nasserfar’s talents and why, exactly, he has selected the company as his new employer, and why it selected him.
“I’ve learned that where you work matters. The culture, the people, the systems behind the scenes... they all impact how well you can show up for your clients and builder partners,” Nasserfar said in his own LinkedIn post. In a video interview with Supreme, Nasserfar spoke pretty candidly about a certain authenticity at the company.
“The courtship is one thing, but then, when you start to peel [it] back and you talk to other people who are currently there, you realize: what you want to say you are, and what you are? Usually two different things,” Nasserfar said.
He summed it up this way: “Supreme Lending is fast, nimble, and built for professionals who want to lead, not follow,” he stated. “They let me be me.”
“At Supreme, we believe in letting great people lead, and Michael embodies that,” noted Supreme’s Middleton. “He’s not here to play it safe — he’s here to help builders win, and we’re all in on that vision.”
And in still another vote of confidence, Nasserfar knows how to build trust with clients, move quickly and with agility, “and flat-out get it done,” contended Scott Everett, founder and CEO of Supreme Lending. “We’re not here to be average — we’re here to win, and Michael fits that mold perfectly.”
